Rain, trains and more rain

Rain, cloud, sun, rain, cloud, sun and more rain - pretty much desccribes the weather for our week in north Wales. It did not stop us doing what we wanted and generally rained hardest when we were safely indoors or in the car. Our home for the week was high on a hill overlooking the village of Penrhyndeudraeth which I found unpronouncable, like most Welsh place names.
We had a beautiful view across the valley and the little Ffestiniog steam train literally passed by our front fence several times a day.
I like this poem by Welsh  poet  R S Thomas.
