What the?

What the heck is this thing? It's body is about 4cm long. It landed on my arm so I flicked it off and then it sat on the ground for a while before flying away.

    Now, Kev, I know you have bigger bugs in Thailand, but this one is pretty weird - and, no, not putting my hand any where near it!
