Wow!

After about 11 hours, 2 buses, 2 trains and a plane, we arrived in Chamonix, in the French Alps. WOW - totally surrounded. These are seriously high and beautiful mountains, not the little British pimples we have spent the last 10 days walking up.

This is part of the view from the deck of the chalet we are renting, with my brother and family for the next week. The view is more 'wow' than this photo expresses.
