Something fishy

I don't know why this house is called Coleton Fishacre, although it is on the sea, just 15 minutes drive from Agatha's house. I wonder if the lives of this wealthy family inspired any of Agatha's stories.

Understated art deco furniture and spacious rooms

The garden is full of exotic plants including bananas, a gum tree and a border of Dianella Tasmanica, an endemic Tasmanian grass-like plant with blue berries. Made me feel quite at home.
