I walked out the back door and up a mountain this afternoon. That is Old Man Coniston up there with his head fringed by cloud.
Looking back down to Coppermines Valley, named after its old mines.
Lots of evidence of mining activity along the path.
Why is it called Low Water when it is so high up?
View back down to Coniston from the top.
A sheep for company at the top. I do love mountain walking.
That is quite an impressive pathway!
