Yes, we climbed up the bell tower  - 212 steep winding steps - and walked on the roof of Bath Abbey.

I got to chime one of the bells by pulling on a rope. 

We stood in the rafters and looked down onto the top of the vaulted stone ceiling. It is only 4 inches thick but is strong enough to walk on. Still cannot get my head around what a marvel of engineering this is and that it is over 500 years old.
